The Competition Commission of India (CCI) passed an order in Delhi on Monday night deciding that the practices of Yash Raj Films that were described as unfair and monopolistic by Ajay Devgn Ffilms, were not violative of sections 3 and 4 of the Competition Act. What does that mean? Round one goes to YRF. • Anna Hazare Movement – A different perspective

Well, NG is a bollywood forum and this post is not regarding bollywood, but, when even whole bollywood is talking about it, why no NGians. Although, I am quite lazy in writing, yet, the one sided media reporting of the movement in last 3 days forced me to shere my views. I would be putting forward my views on 4 aspects involved in this movement, the UPA (or rather Congress) government, opposition parties, Anna Hazare and general public who is supporting this movement and In my opinion all are guilty. The UPA government is biggest culprit in this whole drama. How can they deny the right to protest which is given to us by constitution provided it is peaceful. the problem is the autocratic behaviour

  • DD review by Rediff

One more Friday and yet another sequel gets unleashed on an unsuspecting audience. Double Dhamaal, follows four years after the original hit the screens; a quirky comedy made on a low budget, Dhamaal was loaded with crisp, clean humor and minimal vulgarity. Optimism levels are high, director Indra Kumar has a great track record for delivering hits and the plot is already in place. The foundation has already been laid. A clever scriptwriter just needed to build on it. Comic capers built on gags tickle the funny bone, when they rely on vulgarity and crass over-the-top humor; it’s like skating on thin ice. The cast doesn’t fall on their butts, but they don’t succeed in carrying the film forward effortlessly either. For those who missed
