My ratings of Salman khan movies since Wanted:

Wanted: 4 out of 5(1 extra star for entertainment). Have watched more than 20 times and can watch 20 times again.

Main Aur Mrs Khanna: 1 out of 5(Yawn)

London Dreams: 3.5 out of 5(Splendid performance by Salman Khan. I was very satisfied when I came out of the theatre but very disappointed with box office numbers. This at least deserved HIT status.

Veer: 3 out of 5(One more splendid performance by Salman and very good songs. Three thinsg which disappoint me was outfits (which doesn’t look like as if we are watching period film), Sohail Khan(was irritating me till the end) and Zarine khan) Continue reading

Sajid Nadiadwala to direct Kick

It’s now confirmed! Sajid Nadiadwala, producer of several successful films such as Judwaa, Jeet, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, and Housefull 2 will be making his directorial debut with Salman Khan starrer Kick. The film was supposed to be initially directed by Shirish Kunder but since the last few days, there have been murmurs that Shirish is no longer part of the project.

Shirish Kunder, whose film Joker released yesterday to a tepid response, tweeted, “Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing KICK. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life. I’ll continue with my efforts to make original films and bring novel stories in a mainstream format. Remakes for now do not interest me. It is easy for me to do what everyone else is doing or what is working. But I’ll always choose to attempt something new with every film.”

Sajid Nadiadwala will be now both producing and directing Kick. The film is a remake of a Telugu film of the same name which released in 2009.
