According to well-placed sources, the aggressive, bespectacled character in Ram Gopal Varma’s new political film Sarkar Raaj is based on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray. In the film, he is called Sanjay Somji, and is a fiery young politician at loggerheads with the Nagre family, played by the Bachchan trio.
