Sherlyn Chopra, known for her bold and sexy image, was in the news after she uploaded the promo of her film, Kamasutra 3D, without consulting the Hollywood producers. Consequently, buzz had it that director Rupesh Paul was upset with her as she had violated the terms of the agreement and that he was planning to replace her with a Hollywood actress. However, now all seems to be well between Sherlyn and the filmmaker. They’re scheduled to start shooting in Rajasthan in March.
Rupesh says the video was like a screen test and wasn’t meant for public viewing. “Sherlyn came to my hotel room to take it saying she just wanted to copy it on her phone and she wouldn’t share it. Kamasutra 3D is a Hollywood production and they’re strict about their terms and conditions. I had declined when they requested me for the video. Later, they got it from the video-sharing site.” Confirming that they’ve now sorted out their differences, he says, “Sherlyn has assured me in writing that going forward she will not do or say anything to promote the film without the prior consent of the producers.”
Sherlyn, on her part, says, “In hindsight, I agree that prudence should always precede passion. Henceforth, I won’t do anything just out of passion, but also with due diligence, keeping the best interests of everyone at heart. I’m looking forward to shooting the movie, an adaptation of one of India’s most ancient manuscripts.”
