Well done ABCD


I was gung ho about this film after the first promo itself. It’s good to see the film’s success. Released in 750 prints it has earned 5.5 cr on Day 1 as against 6.25 of Special 26 released with 1750 prints. Commendable!

    Will be watching ABCD. The makers took aashirwaad from Akshay kumar before releasing it on feb 8 . Akshay must be too happy for his friends Prabhu and Remo.

    Gorilla, Waleed Jawaid, I have used Koimoi figures for both and have provifed the links. Quote this site because both the print sizes were mentioned here clearly with brak up of 2-D and 3-D screens.

    Utkal dada, today you have convinced me that you are an Akshay hater.

    Very sorry, as I have ceased to use such terminology against elders, but after your happiness at ABCD’s initial win against against a film like Special26, I could not resorted to diplomacy.

    Would have expected you to say that ‘good that Akshay is producing films like OMG & Special26.

    BTW- Koimoi has no trade magazine as the reference point. Better use asource that uses a film trade magazine as a source.

    “While Special 26 was not expected to open like a Housefull 2 or Rowdy Rathore, still I expected it to open likea K 786.

    Since I do not believe in excuses, I must say that this is rather shocking.”

    S26 Vs ABCD – Well my thoughts were ABCD will be a washout but atleast it has some face saving numbers.

    I am happy for Dharmesh Sir … :)

    S26 – Well doesn’t matter what the opening is, the wom is good and it that is what matters for such movies.

    At the beginning of 2021, Utkal had predicted 2012 will be end of Akki but nothing of that sorts happened. So it is quite evident he is Akki hater.

    And what’s wrong if he hates him? Its okay.
    He just needs to openly accept like Danish, instead of making such sneaky anti akki posts.

    BTW- I saw S26 today (3-6) and it is an amazing film. 4.25/5 for me.

    Now the onus is on core Akshay fans to make it a big hit, because I saw the balcony/diplomat/upper stall full, while the lower stalls were 50 %.

    Fans apne star ke biggest strength or pitfall hain!

    But this Neeraj guy is here to stay.

    I love the cast he has chosen.

    Tango bhai….I think many Akki fans have seen s26 once. I have returned from S26.
    4.25/5 rating from you is really good. I would give similar rating.
    Neeraj pandey is now a star. Special 27 seems to be his next, looking at the way he ended S26.
    Will try to write a detailed review tomorrow.

    its 1586 for S 26
    and 950 for ABCD
    Girish johar
    #ABCD is around 950 screens & #Special26 is 1586 screens across the country !!
