Vikram Bhatt doesn’t believe in resting on past laurels. After finding success with his 3D offering Raaz 3, the director and his SFX team are moving on to bigger things… quite literally.
On the lines of Jurassic Park, Anaconda and Predator, Bhatt’s next foray into the horror genre is Creature, with Bipasha Basu.
Vikram explains, “Jurassic Park was the biggest hit in India when it released here. This shows that the audience is ready for much more than what Bollywood caters to, generally.” Co-producer Bhushan Kumar feels, “We now have the technical know-how and our industry has made amazing advances over the years. I look forward to working on this film with Vikram.”
“We’ve been a successful team in the past,” says Bhatt when asked why he repeated his Raaz 3 star in Creature. The filmmaker sums up his reasons for delving into the creature horror genre by saying, I’ve done 3D, now I’ll be doing this film.”
Creature, produced by T-Series and ASA Productions, goes on floors this May.
