Akshay Kumar has always been fiercely protective about his family. Word just in, he has transformed his office on the fourth floor of his sea-facing building in Juhu into a plush pad for his recently married sister Alka Bhatia and her husband Surendra Hiranandani to move into.
“Akshay has two floors to himself and his mother stays a floor above him. The fourth floor was devoted to his production house for script discussions, meetings, photo shoots and editing. But when Alka and Surendra began exploring options for their new home, he suggested they move in there,” said a source.
Apparently, the couple wanted a sea-facing apartment and Akshay thought this would be the best idea. “The interiors are being done by Twinkle and the flat will be ready in 45 days,” added the source.
