Salman’s film slate for 2013 is now final. The actor has decided on the films he will shoot in 2013.
With Aneez Bazmee’s sequel to No Entry getting pushed to 2014 and even Sooraj Barjatya’s film getting postponed, Salman has now decided to take up a Tips film to be produced by Ramesh Taurani. Prabhud Dheva, who previously made the super-hit Wanted with Salman, will direct the film.
When contacted, Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news and said: “Yes, we are starting a film starring Salman Khan by end of this year.”
Post Mental, which is supposed to go on floors any day now, Salman will shift focus to Sajid Nadaidwala’s Kick, which is expected to roll in August. A source close to Salman told Mirror: “Salman is all set to put his full concentration on Sohail Khan’s Mental and before getting started with it, he wanted to finalise his itinerary for 2013.”
Prabhu Dheva who is busy completing Ramaiya Vastavaiya will soon start working on a film with Ajay Devgn and the Salman-starrer is next in line.
“Ramesh and Prabhu Dheva met Salman sometime back and had a long discussion about the film. They told him that they will shoot the film according to his convenience. It came as a pleasant surprise when Salman said that he had free dates in October this year,” the source added.
Salman’s 2013 calendar reads: Sohail Khan’s Mental, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick, Prabhu Dheva’s next.
