Most boring film of all time. They were treated more of as Slaves than as Maids. Director tried his best to gain more Sympathy towards this film than actually staying true to its subject i guess. There are hardly 2-3 scenes tht gives u the plight & racist behaviour against these maids including the scene u posted but literally it is too much to be considered real unless its a film of the 18th Century

It is one of the best romantic movie to come out of Hollywood iitianway. I didn’t liked when i watched it for the first time. it just went above my head. But after few years later when i tried to watch it again, i just loved it.

iitian bhai jee,
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, for me, is the best romantic movie ever. After 3-4 drinks, I can also say, its the best movie ever.
The best thing about this film is that it shows separation in an unseparated and unwilling manner. This particular style develops an undeniable connection. It shows you that love-life sucks but you are better off with it than without it.
I can write 10 pages about it, but thats not what movies are for. Watch it and find out yourself.
P.s. Out of all the people I have recommended this film, 50% loved it,30 % found it long and boring and 20% hated it.
