Ably supported by the Likes of Vidya, Parambrata, Nawaaz and Others, KAHAANI was an Engaging Watch.
Especially, Liked the Way he used those Officials from the Government Ministries and Stuff – A Thing we often get to see in Many American Movies.

‘Aashiyan’, a Magical Number, took time to grow… ‘Ala Barfi!’ Was lot of Fun[All Credit to Mohit Chuahan]… “Phir le aya Dil” remains the best Song of Barfi!… Fall in Love with Illena’s Eyes every time I Watch it.

Except for the ‘Dragging’ End Portions, Full Marks to Vicky Donor for the Quirly Screenplay.. From Ayushmann Romancing the Bank Employere in Yami to the Scenes os ‘Sperm Donation’ with Annu Kapoor to the Punju-Bong Wedding.
Kudos to Juhi Chaturvedi, Shoojit Sircar, John Abraham and EROS.

Inspite of an “Average” Khiladi-786 and a “Disowened” Joker, Akshay Kumar remains the STAR OF THE YEAR-2012 for me because of a SOLO Blockbuster in ‘Rowdy Rathore’, a Huge Superhit in Housefull-2[which without him would have gone the ‘KSKHH/Double Dhamaal’ Way] and the Movie which turned the tide in favour of him[Rather than Salman Khan who was set to win it in a 3rd year in a row] is OMG!-Oh My God!, a Script/Story hardly any Superstar would have backed but then it reaching an ‘Unbelievable’ 83crores was truly amazing to see[& Of course, the Universal Appreciation].

I agree that his movie selection is bad and has bad script sense but as per acting skills, he is most versatile actor and one of the best actors like Amitabh, Aamir & Govinda. He has more range in expressions than Aamir and has showd equal depth & perfection to Aamir in Tasveer, Jaanwar & Sangharsh.

Comedy ki hai tab to kabhi best Actor in lead ho hi nai sakta, This myth is biggest blunder can be seen in award shows and has almost influenced the mind of audiences throughout the decades.
As per me mvoies watched so far by me in 2012
STAR OF THE YEAR – Controversial between Akshay & Salman but Salman is more favourble as per BO . But Salman movies didnt trended well shows the curosity more then acceptability. Akshay is well accpeted but joker played bad against him
on 31st Dec I analysed by giving different weightages to different aspects for BO star of year. The result came in between Akshay & Salman, but majority of outcomes favored Salman.

Rest Comedy, Action, & Negative roles Akshay has more excel than Ajay wether with the margin of 1 % on one genre , 10 % in another or 40 % in some another one.

Bajpayee was good among the Multi Starcast of the GOW Series no doubt.
But IMO, his Act won’t come in My Top5 Lead Actors.
Instead it was Chaddha’s Performance as Nagma Khatoon from the Novice Newly-Wed Bride to the Fiesty Mother to the Old Patriach of the Khan Family that Impressed Me the Most[apart from Khanwalkar's Music] about this Otherwise Average and Overrated Series by Kashyap.

u r a middle class urban guy so even if u watch a film abt a village, it has to cater to ur sensibilties. maahi gill has to wear a crisp cotton saari and thats enuff for u to like paan singh tomar despite the fact that its a poor man’s bandit queen without any impact.
english vinglish is such a trivial story with hardly any relevance, except for a handful of women – mostly belonging to your socio-economic class – or a little below – aspiring to be in ur socio- economic class.
vicky donor a far fetheched comedy abt semen and sperms is ur fave for the same reasons that ( i assume) delhi belly wud have been. on wat basis does annu kapoor gets stuck up on ayushman khurana as the donor (lajpat nagar itself will have 500 such ‘aryans’ with most of them willing to ‘donate’ for 200 rs.) and despite ayushman saying no he keeps following him. and who can get so much money by sperm donation? get me one annu kapoor and i will get you 5000 ayushman khuranas.

OMG -a sjuvenile as it gets. an 80s style stage play (in rfact it is an 80s stage play i guess) that tries to do wat yahi hai zindagi did in 1970s.

kareena – as lackluster as it gets – poor man’s konkona sen (page 3)
aur sabse badi laanat – best music for barfi – in the year of ett, khiladi 786 and dabangg 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats becoz ur ‘personality’ is the type who wud do ‘jamming sessions’ with guitar at the terrace of ur home with ur other ‘urban middle class freinds’ and consider that great music. rockstar at least had 2 good songs with meaningful lyrics abut calling barfi the best music. THATS THE MOST MYOPIC IT GETS.
and then calling these HONEST AWARDS’
on the other hand u ignore universally acknowledged great films like ett, Rowdy Rathore , dabangg 2 (een if i did not like the 3rd so wat? i am not god and have just one vote like everyone else)
and a guy who grosses 340 cr with just two films almost breaking 3 idiots legendary record is not star of the year and the lead of joker is.
shame on such ‘HONESTY’.
