Wow..these people are ignoring Oh My God and Paresh Rawal big time. No wonder, no one takes any of these awards seriously.

Akki will get an award for OMG as best supporting actor, but they have ROYALLY ignored Paresh and not even nominated him.

But anyways we knw the credibility of these awards.
Paresh cannot afford to buy this award…. nor cant he do a performance on stage for these guys so …. it was pretty obvious he will be ignored.

Actually It wouldn’t have been that unfair to not nominate Akshay, but Paresh’s performance was undoubtedly the best of the year.

Yeah … atleast they should have nominated him.
You can give the award to anyone who is ready to buy it but atleast nominate him.

awards are joke as they don’t matter at all. (might slightly matter to some new comers).
It makes no difference to paresh rawal whether he is nominated or not. He has already got lots of appreciation and love from the audience for his role.

Screen is the only award that I respect ‘somewhat’. Much better than the likes of Zee, Filmfare and Stardust. The last one of course is useless.
Screen does set the tone for the rest of the award season and there is at least a semblance of impartiality.
This list is very telling. This is probably the few times A R Rahman’s music has not been nominated at all, esp when it was so hyped. My personal opinion is that the music of JTHJ wasnt particularly smashing, but it was good.

An Aamir Khan film does not make it to the Best Film list. Now that doesnt happen too often. I said from the day I watched it that this was really a nothing film, and possibly the actor’;s worst choice in decades. It’s okay to make an experiment and fail. But this was neither here or there. Astonishingly its script was very very weak for an Aamir Khan film.

Nice to see the Best list and director category completely taken away by smaller films.

Nice to see you commenting Sandhya. What are your thoughts about the exclusion of Oh My God and more importantly Paresh Rawal from the best film and best actor category. I believe its stupid and surprising how they are treating perhaps the most important movie of the last 10-20 years.

stardust pe Akshay aur Ajay ka stack hai

Filmfare and iifa par Shahrukh, Rajehs Roshan and Rishi Kapoor ka

chhote mote awards like colors , screens , big star etc to moke pe paise le ke kisi ko bhi jita dete hai

    Sab bike bikey huye hain

I wish if Akshay would have the guts, in this matter, like Aamir has

see nowadays no Actor(i mean big Actor) care whether they get an award or not …
all they want is— either to be there to meet other actors for about an hour or be there to perform (easy money) and go home..!!

so if they can gain so much from an award function why to Boycott them :)
