However, on his birthday on Thursday (December 27), the actor made a rather strange exception. According to a source present at his birthday party in Panvel, the actor apparently danced to some popular tracks from Akshay Kumar’s films.
“The house was lit up like never before as it has been an exceptional year for Salman. However, when it came to shaking a leg on the dance floor, he chose some popular numbers from Akshay Kumar’s films like Rowdy Rathore, Housefull 2 and Khiladi 786,” said the source.
Aamir Khan has reportedly rejected a luxury car endorsement apparently to concentrate on his image of a social crusader.
After starting work on his debut television show Satyamev Jayate, Aamir first altered his existing contracts with the ad agencies and later even cancelled all his commitments.
According to a source: “Aamir only wants to work on ads that are socially relevant. He is rumoured to have cancelled ad deals amounting to a few crores.”
Though his show is now long over, the superstar still does not want to do any ad.

Dabangg 2 will have the highest second week collection of 2012 as it is sure to beat the 34 crore nett of Rowdy Rathore.
Dabangg 2 has collected around 32 crore nett in five days of its second week as it grossed a huge 8 crore nett approx plus on Tuesday as it was a holiday for New Years Day.
The film should manange the second highest second week of all time as the 36 crore nett of Dabangg should also be beaten.
The film will have a big drop on Wednesday as the holiday period is over but should manage to add a 5 crore nett minimum to take it to a 37 crore nett second week at least.
