Dabangg 2 Has Excellent First Week
Dabangg 2 had an excellent first week as it collected around the 99 crore nett range. It is the third highest first week collection (7 days) of all time behind Ek Tha Tiger and Bodyguard. The collections did drop a bit on Thursday as it a collected in the 6-6.25 crore nett range. It was around 20% lower than the previous day.
The film has gone into week two with a huge screen count as there is no other major release. There are multiplexes with 25 or 30 shows in week two which is rare.
The second week record of Three Idiots of 55 crore will be safe but Dabangg 2 may surpass the second best total for week two which was the 36 crore nett of Dabangg in 2010.
