Dabangg 2 First Day Business-BOI
Dabangg 2 has collected 19.50 crore nett approx on day one as per early estimates. It is the highest non holiday opening day beating the 14.75 crore nett of Don 2 released in the same period last year but it has also released on 600-700 more screens than that film. As has been seen in the last two years it is really tough to collect really big at multiplexes without a national holiday and the trend continued with Dabangg 2. There is just not enough of a multiplex audience on a working day to pack out 25 or 30 shows daily at a multiplex. Some shows go house full but odd timing shows have very low occupancies. The first day is still fantastic and there should be growth on Saturday and Sunday as huge number of shows multiplexes give the film potential to get much higher collections as long as the public takes to it.

Dabangg 2 had an excellent opening and will have a strong first day collection. The occupancies were not that high at multiplexes for the day due to the huge number of shows as business got shared amongst the shows. The single screens were extraordinary with collections near record levels. The film should easily set a new record for weekend.

Ab toh had ho gayi yaar……poori duniya jaanti hai ki rowdy rathor biggest non holiday opener thhi….boi ne apne khud ke diye hue figure se fisalte hue rowdy rathor ke collection ko 15cr se 14.47cr kar diye aur don2 ke 14.40cr se 14.75cr kar diye…yaha tak ki recently v boi ne don2 ke 14.40cr figure dikhaye thhe ab ye 14.75cr kaise hui ab koi mujhe bataye.
Ab sab log boi ko follow karna chhoro aur taran adarsh ko follow karo kyunki ye banda apne words,collections aur verdicts kabhi change nahi karta….aur boi hamesha apne words,collection aur verdicts change karta rahta hai.

0 0as per as dabangg2 concerned BOI commentry totally sucks.I dont understand why they were so pumping and over redicting its collection.2-3 crore deviation is considerable but 6-10 crore deviation in one day is shocking. not only this before waiting its first week collection they are predicting it may cross 3idiot second week collection.it is very bad erformance by no.1 boxoffice site.their commentry also sucked in the case of jthj by early superhit verdict.if in this way they comments people will not trust them. And yes Salman is head and shoulders above ALL other actors currently.(in this decade/last 3-4 years) Everyone knows and would second that. The point to be noted is Dabangg 2 first day collection on a non- holiday is greater than Akshay biggest single day collection on his first sunday.
frankly speaking i didnot witness that much pre occupancy for Dabangg 2 in bookmyshow when compared to ETT but still BOI was unnecessarily hyping the movie.

0 0Saw Dabaang2…….kamal karte ho Pandeyji….chutia si story…boring songs…kuch khas one liner bhi nehin…direction ka pata nehin….action maja nehin ayan…lekin aap cha gaye. first half was bit slow…just routine masala……10 minutes prior to interval was dhansu…post interval till climax it was too good. Climax though felt should have been bit better…mainly the fight sequence…felt like they were in a hurry to complete the movie….songs were the weakest here….baring favicol…man..kareena was looking damn hot…could not stop myself from joining the crowd to dance during this song…though my GF took me for a nice class after that. ..
over all i like it for Salman…way better then the chutiatic ETT…dabang1 was better no comparison whats ever….But guys watch it for Salman….he is in roaring form….i dont mind if they come up with dabang3….4…5..till the time Salman is in this kind of form…. -

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade NetworkRowdy Rathore has collected around 14.50 crore nett on its first day as per early estimates. The film recorded phenomenal collections in many circuits but under performed in Delhi city and Punjab especially for an Akshay Kumar film.
It is the biggest non holiday opening of all time and amongst the top 5 to 6 opening days of all time. Agneepath and Bodyguard lead by a distance with Rowdy Rathore collecting in the same range as films like Don 2, Ra.One and Dabangg.
It also the highest opening day for an Akshay Kumar starrer beating housefull 2 by around 1.50 crore nett.
The distributor share on day one is easily the third biggest ever on day one due to the extraordinary business in single screens. At some centres the share on day one was as much as the whole week share of films like Don 2 and Ra.One.

0 0Just watched dabangg 2 and talaash (talaash with the same ticket of dabangg 2 that cost me 7.5 dollars). I don’t know why the ticket was cheaper for d2… Even the ticket of dabangg 2 years ago was 8 dollars. Maybe Christmas sale?
I looked at the shows for d2 online and saw that they were also playing talaash and JTHJ (Jthj still playing. I was surprised) while k786 was already out of the theatre.
Only 10 people to watch d2. Is it a big flop in US?
In the interval I went to check how many people were watching jthj n talaash. Jthj was not playing cuz no one was there to watch it. 6 people were watching talaash (impressive for talaash as it is almost a month old)
Then after finishing d2 I went to see talaash (ha to wait for 20 mins). This time there were 12 people watching talaash. ( more than d2. For a while I was ashamed as a salman fan) trailer of d2 was shown right before talaash started. One lady in the back said, “acting kaab sikega” I felt like standing up and giving a slap to her. -

0 0Talaash. What a movie yaar. Easily best movie of the year for me. Even ahead of ishaqzade, omg, Vicky donor and kahaani. 4.5 stars could have been 5 if there were no songs.
What was wrong with talaash? Why people didn’t like it? I don’t understand. I m very surprised that it didn’t even cross 100 crores.
It has made me believe that the script of dhoom 3 could be good-

0 0Dabangg 2 was a pure masala entertainer. Salman Show all the way. one notch higher than dabange.. lots of humor in the movie…10 people present in the theater were constantly laughing.
script deserves not more than 1 star.
All performances are superb. 4.5 stars for performances of all characters.
Songs were awesome but looked like they were forced into the movie. The small song that salman performed in baccha bhai’s party was brilliant.
Overall movie I will give 3 stars.
If u want good story in movies don’t even dare to watch it. But if u want to be entertained for 2 hours it is a very good film for you.
This movie will work huge in single screens but it has nothing to offer to multiplex audience. ( what ever it collects in multiplexes will be only due to the star power of salman khan)
