Dabangg 2 has taken a fantastic start at the box office on the Friday (First Day) as far as Morning Shows are concerned. As we have received the sample reports from selected mulitplexes opening is around 60-70% on average. This is excellent for the Morning Shows. Single Screen Report is still to receive. Also, whatever information we have for D2, it has taken around 70-80% opening in few leading single screens. So, on average around an occupancy of 65-70% is registered for D2 in the Morning Shows. This is huge considering today is a normal working day.
Mumbai and Gurgaon centers are rocking with huge occupancies are registered. Many Sold Out shows already. Delhi is little slow in comparison to above said centers, but it is still good with occupancy of around 50%.
It is no doubt that Dabangg 2 has taken the biggest non-holiday opening ever in bollywood. But the question is whether it can touch or cross 20 crore nett mark. Yes definitely going by the Morning Shows estimates.
