The promos & sluggish pace has let down Talaash, for the average cinegoer!

My rating Talaash 3.5/5

I liked Talaash ( must add that I am big fan of Agatha Christie, and the slow paced finely detailed films that have been made on her novels), and I can also understand where and why a section of the audience has problems.

NO, it is not the climax. The problem is due to the promos, which gave an impression that the film has fast paced proceedings, before the final revelation.

Amir is investigating accidents/murders and there is this suspect having some vital info. The proceeding appeared taut and not sluggish. I always believe that promos should not be misleading, from the point of view of an ordinary cinegoer.

Unfortunately, TALAASH drags in the second half (very much like the first half of the second part of JTHJ). The film moves at patience testing pace, till the climax. You cannot do that to the audience.

Even if the film had picked up pace half way thru the second half, the outcome would have been different, and even the climax would have been accepted, as a fitting finale.

Those saying that the climax is the problem, sorry I disagree.

….but cinegoers are in too much hurry to watch this slow paced/emotional/dark thriller….
First 11 shows of ESquare-UR are completely/nearly soldout for tomorrow.

Rani and mr. kiran rao go and watch Golmaal 3 , didnt surjan notice Rosy in the film or atleast in the posters ..

This is the most bogus film of our era… KLPD looks better after watching Talaash. The biggest chutiyapa is that the lead actor who made a 13 episode trauma inducing SMJ, had requested the population not believe in Babas, eveils etc etc and now he makes this crap called Talaash which deals with bhoots and chudails..

    FISHHH!!

As an actor aamir was never great but till Lagaan , i considered him to be one of the good actors but since then, he has just degraded himself owing to his ego and perfectionist tag. theres not even one percent of honesty and spontaneity in his performance or films. As Naseeruddin shah said in one of his interviews that aamir is the most boring actor.. he cant get the audiences involved into the story like an Amitabh or Shah rukh!!

Talaash is a quality movie. I didn’t find it slow…. rather very gripping.

Khiladi786 trailer looked crappy and trash , Race 2 and the Matru Ki …. trailer looked much better.

I know many crappy movies are box office success like Rowdy Rathore or Ready…but in my book they’ll always be crappy and tasteless junks.

From box office aspects also it is better not to criticize Aamir khan, because he was the founder of so called 100cr club and the sole founder to date of the 200 cr+. The sad part is nobody was able to cross 100 cr. until actually Aamir crossed 200cr with 3I.

Talaash with 40 cr. budget will be safe box office-wise whether it makes 100 cr or not.
