Brief views on Talaash and strong buzz of Khiladi786 !!
Just coming back from Talaash. I already read some reviews so i set my expectations accordingly and it worked very well for me. This is story of father who lost his kid in an accident. This incident completely shattered him. movie is about discovery and transformation of hibernated father about life and its secrets. This movie is more of philosophical thriller encapsulated with elements of crime suspense. Overall movie worked for its strong emotional ingredients and exceptional story telling. Just set your expectations right and go for it. Not exceptional movie like TZP, RDB or 3I , but definitely one more feather on Aamir’s cap.
Now buzz of Khiladi786 .. Its promo was shown in interval and got mind boggling response from mass audience. I am also hearing that it has created strong buzz and appeal in mass oriented centers and should easily be Akshay’s biggest opener in range of 16-18 Crore. Fingers crossed.

0 0talaash lifetime is one week only…as most of the junta dont want to wait for movie once it is there ..same way as we dont want to wait for climax once we are in cinema hall….
I have seen yesterday ..moms/pops calling their kids dayoff to make sure she/he watches aamir first day/first show.. -

0 0Agree with you Tango Bhai….gut feeling says K786 will work big time. The Punjabi setup will give it huge advantage in Delhi/Punjab….then the Gujarati Himesh and Marathi speaking Mithun might add up a flavor in the Mumbai/Gujarat market. I think the team has played it very smart in the setup of this movie …not to forget the 786 tag that might connect with the Muslim community….music is popular..promos are exciting…so on paper it looks a big winner…but never know India team is also very strong on paper but most of the time the ground reality was different
…anyway hoping the best for K786… -

0 0@ek tha duggale – u have to understand it. akshay kumar is the last hope of yakuza that, in the warped scheme of things in his mind, will stop salman khan from replacing amitabh bachchan as the biggest star of bollywood. how on earth will he get akshay 4 atbbs and 9 biggest hits of the year in the next 3-4 years thats left of akshy’s career (as a hero) only yakuza can tell. but till then he will leave no stone unturned in projecting akshay as BIG.
