Like or Dislike: 0 1Combined collection of Sos and Jthj may not exceed 186cr of ETT even though Jthj was riding on ETT But Sos may take over jthj sooner than later.

5 0I’ve said it before (few times only) and will say it again, right now its Salman’s time and you put him in any film, 150 crores is a definite. Whatever ETT did at the BO was because of Salman’s pull and his power. Sadly to say SRK’s pull is decreasing at the BO.

0 0I don’t know about goodwill and all that stuff. I don’t live in India. I live in the US so its hard for me to recognize his goodwill and etc. I still SRK has the BO pull for opening day and opening weekend but his films havent been upto mark with the WOM, thats where it hits you in 2nd week and 3rd week.
Even with JTHJ, many predicted 150+ but I stuck with 120-130 because of the romantic genre and the length of the film. Even if you want to analyze JTHJ’s BO, it has still made a decent amount of money at the BO despite being a romantic genre, a 3 hour film, mixed WOM, and a clash.
I don’t feel too positive about Chennai Express but I am 100% sure Happy New Year will be a Blockbuster at the BO.

One good thing is many used to say Ajay D is all because of Rohit Shetty …. now atleast we have a clear picture Ajay D can pull it even without Shetty.Infact we will have to closely monitor CE’s box off performance …. because if CE doesn’t become a big hit then we can easily say that Rohit Shetty is all because of Ajay D and not the other way round.

0 0SOS has done really well at the BO with the clash and lesser screens so credit must be given BUT I still don’t consider Ajay Devgan a big draw the BO. What happened to films like Aakrosh, Rascals, and Dil Toh Bacha Hai, Tezz. Himmatwala is Devgan’s next release and that’ll definitely be huge and a certain amount of that credit should go to Sajid Khan. I’m going to wait a few more films before I start believing in Ajay D as a BO puller.
As for Rohit Shetty, I’m not expecting anything huge with CE.I hated Bol Bachchan, turned it off after 40 minutes but I have loved the Golmaal series and Singham is one of my fav films but with CE I have a feeling he is going to alter his filmmaking style just because he’s directing SRK.
