Jab Tak hai Jaan has collected around 4.25 crore nett as per early estimates on Monday. The business in the Maharashtra are was still hit on Monday due to the death of Balasaheb Thackeray and business should slowly be back to normal today in Maharashtra.

The film held up better in areas dominated by premium multiplexes while mass belts recorded low collections. The business on Tuesday should hold well as compared to Monday as Maharashtra should record better collections.

The seven day business for the film is 78 crore nett. Ra.One collected 91 crore nett approx in seven days and Don 2 collected 71 crore nett approx in seven days.

    Low business was expected since Maharashtra cinemas were shut down and Fame cinemas too.

    Tuesday is crucial and will give a better picture of the BO status.

    This is shocking……. No idea what is happening. WOM is definitively better than ra-one. Without Maharashtra, it should have alt least collected 6 crore.

    After 6 days extended weekend 4.25 is good enough for both movies.

    This was a good clash. Both movies have done good enuf where they were supposed to do.

    BTW … watched SOS … one time watch time pass movie ….
    I expected it to be a laugh riot but was okay and funny in parts.

    But it was better than Bol Bachchan. Bol Bachchan second half was draggg.

        Sneha – I am not talking about future … I am commenting on the past.
        Both movies have performed good over the extended weekend.

        I dont know what were people expecting like 100cr in first 6 days for both movies… That is highly impossible unless both movies are Salman starrer’s ONLY then it is possible … :D

    I think jthj proved that salman is in different league now. Unfortunately most of the SRK’s movie went wrong for last 7 years. It all started with kank. kank,mnik,raone,jthj are average movies. Don was just above average. rnbdj and don2 were good movies and chak de was best of them.So only 3 good movies since 2005.

    After ra-one debacle and under performance of don2 (inspite of good movie), I was expecting jthj will be come-back movie for SRK. But as karan johar went wrong with kank and mnik , yash ji also had a bad day with jthj.

    This is really shocked didnt expect mondey number to be this low Lets wait and see how the film will do when everything turn back to be ordinary but in general both film will be hit but we are talking about the final result and JTHJ right now much below the mark

    all those who are thinking that jthj will crash this week will be shocked on seeing the next weekend numbers.
    JTHJ is holding up well…just chill guys…wait for second weekend and the picture will be clear….
    and as far as sos is concerned, those who think that sos is sustaining well need to go and check the WOM at an single screen..it’s way beyong expectation…
    JTHJ will be approx 130 crores and i predicted the same before 13th november (if anybody remembers)…i said it’s neither good nor bad and gave 3 stars..

    Agree with rockie here… Both movies have done very good business if not better… Sos may have an edge over jthj in long run as it is closing the gap between the two films with less screen off-course but by the end of the week the cumulative outcome of business of both the movies must show a healthy figure… Now rest depends on second week, the survival for the fittest.

    Looks like JTHJ might not cross Ra.one now. Hence it might not make it to the top 5 hits of the year- Dabangg 2, ETT, Rowdy Rathore, Agneepath, Houseful2. Talaash of course can come in anywhere after the two Salman movies. Poor Shah Rukh Khan and his fans.
