Son Of Sardaar has collected 58 crore nett approx over its extended six day weekend. The territorial breakdown is as follows.

Mumbai – 19.25 crore

Delhi/UP – 12.61 crore

East Punjab – 6.37 crore

West Bengal – 1.62 crore

Bihar – 1.83 crore

CP Berar – 3.11 crore

CI – 3.14 crore

Rajasthan – 4.81 crore

Nizam – 2.48 crore

Mysore – 1.42 crore

Others – 1.30 crore

TOTAL – 57.94 crore

    Despite all the hype surrounding jthj…all the positive emotions towards it among the media… Less number of single screens at high earning areas… Sos has done great.. And has slapped the doubters of ajay and his star value… No matter how stll some haters place the performance on masala genre… The thing is…purely a genre cant interest audience… The star value needs to be there in the first place to grab attention towards a movie… And then genre comes into play… Ajay has proved that he is among the top stars today at bo and no one can doubt that now!

      how much star value john added to force???
      And no doubt of star power of ajay his ouatim(though no one could have acted the way he did in movie) which would have been ATBB wit any other star such as salman,srk,akki,or even hrithik was just reducd to super hit is this star power u r talking?
      And star power is never calculatd fr gud film k
      For ex
      Salman in ett made 190 cn u think ajay cn even make it a 100 cr lol even srk can’t get that film to do ovr 120cr

        Ok, let me try to get your logic .. are you saying SOS is such a great film that it is doing business almost equal to SRK’s film that also happens to be Yash CHopra’s swansong. Man, this movie must be better than Sholay then!

        But thanks for agreeing that SRK can hardly take a movie to 120 crs and not more than that.

        And you are saying JTHJ didnt benefit from that extra publicity? What about the extra publicity from Yash Chopra’s death and all the sympathy audiences that went to see Yash Chopra’s last movie?

        Now I really wonder how much JTHJ would do if it were not for Yash Chopra

The star power varies obviously…but to case that ajay cant take ett to 190 doesnt mean that he has no star power…it means salman has more… If you think sos earned purely because of case…then i am sorry… Jthj earned even more cause of case + yash chopra death + extra screens… Sirf case thokne se saale log paise khrch krke film dekhne aate toh har film case krti… Despite such an opposition… Less screens… Unfortunate demise of yash chopra..still sos earning this much is a testimant of ajay’s increasing star value…and those who choose to ignore it…is a disillusioned idiot!

    bhai sos performed as it was expectd to bt way people r reacting as if it did miracle it had enough publicity going for it befr release and it genre is also is flavor of season so it was expectd to do well and it did..
