Student Of The Year saw a heavy drop in week three with collections around 2-2.25 crore nett. The seventeen day total for the film is 59 crore nett plus and by the end of the third week it should go a little over 60 crore nett.

The business was the film was hit hard by Skyfall which dominated the theatres where Student Of The Year was doing its best business.

Delhi/UP and West Bengal will come out the best circuits. Its a odd combination as these circuits are hardly ever in tandem but the film was aided with West Bengal having a holiday on most days of its first week run. The film will do an approx 7.50 crore distributor share in Delhi/UP and 2.25 crore in West Bengal.

In mass belts like Bihar, CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan the film will beat the business of Karan Johar’s last film My Name Is Khan even though all India will do around 15% less. For example, My Name Is Khan had grossed 2.40 crore nett in CP Berar while Student Of The Year has already crossed 3 crore nett in 17 days.
