Why SRK should be afraid of Ajay?

Why? Because he has done it before and is confident of doing it again. Ajay made his debut with a small film Phool Aur Kaante (November 1991) and it released on the same day as Yash Chopra’s Lamhe starring Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. The YRF film was carrying great reports and trade buzz after special previews was that this film would be unstoppable at the box office. No one even knew a small film starring a fight master’s son was releasing on the same day. Those who knew laughed at the audacity of the filmmaker. But the test was on the day of the release. Lamhe tanked at the box office and Phool Aur Kaante went on to become a major hit. Yashraj’s  film was replaced at many screens by the film of the newcomer no one had heard about. Devgn became an overnight star. And all because he had dared.

Devgn believes that he can repeat history again. This Diwali his single screen friendly film will give a tough competition and beat the multiplex mania of ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’.
