Shah Rukh supports the release of ‘Son Of Sardaar’
Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and Ajay Devgn’s “Son Of Sardaar” are slated to release on the same date, 13th November, 2012. However, post Yash Chopra’s death there were speculations and pressure on Ajay to postpone his film out of respect. But now SRK has come out in the open and spoken about the release of both the films.
When asked about industrywallahs wanting Ajay to postpone the release of “Son Of Sardaar”, SRK said, “I didn’t know about this! Asking anyone to postpone his film for any reason is unfair. Why should he postpone his film? In the past also several films have released on the same date.”
SRK continued, “In fact, had Yashji been alive, he would have said, ‘Yaar bhagwan kare inke bhi picture achi chale’. As far as business goes, all films are important. It is a film irrespective of it belonging to a small or big budget category. It is always made with a lot of love and hard work.”
Point taken SRK! We are sure these words of encouragement will help both films set the cash registers ringing at box office.
