@serenzy – i escorted him once to our kiosk in trade centre during the largest Real Estate Exhibition Cityscape in dubai for the launch of his property in marjsn island (RAK) in partnership with TSA investment company. I was part of their marketing drive. Well it was during 2008 sep/oct not sure but he was thinner than me n short as well. He is bit dark than he looks onscreen but he looked Fit n Healthy. One person/fan requested him to take one pic to which he replied, “buy a flat in this property of mine n u will get whatever u want from me”
But that was the last year of Dubai’s successful real estate industry. Now i have no idea whether he had any share or investment in the project or was just a brand ambassador.

But, He Died on 22nd and this was on 24th and Plz let me Reassure you that the Excitemnt and the Buzz of SRK Coming to My Part of Town was Humongous[To add to it, there were Hardcore Bong Fans there too].
So, having seen the Proceedings Live I Really don’t Think Canclling it wud have been an Appropriate Idea OR Even ‘Subtling’ down the Event wudn’t have Helped.

0 0i agree with u serenzy.i understand your enthusiasm.i had a chance to see him from 5 feet away when had come to our medical college for distribution of free cochlear implants.the entire auditorium was jam packed and making hell lot of noise.salman said “CHUPP” nd the place was pin point silent.that was the aura.its incredible when u meet your favourite biggest superstar.
