    Student of the Year – went with very low expectations and was surprised that I quite enjoyed myself. It is all fluff & gloss, quite stupid at times and has no resemblance to ‘real’ life. However, nobody does candyfloss and grandeur as well as Karan Johar. It helps that all the youngsters are sincere and likeable. Varun Dhawan is my pick of the lot.

    Worth a watch if one is looking for unadulterated escapism.

    3 Idiots gets the next level verdict of All Time Blockbuster due to its huge opening.

    Watched SOTY over the weekend.
    Movie is combination of KKHH + Jaane Tu Ya Jane Na + JJWS.

    Movie is good until the climax. The climax is LAME and laughable and the only thing that came to my mind after watching the climax was WTF ??

    My rating – 2/5.
    I have deducted 1 only because of lamest of the climax that I have ever seen.

    —- All the new comers are good and confident. Varun Dhawan being my fav. He is here to stay.

    —–SPOILERS—–
    WTF 1 – The guy kisses your girlfrnd in front of you and apparently it is okay but the important issue is why did you let me win that race??

    WTF 2 – The explanation ….. I saw Kaminaapan in eyes of your baap thats why I let you win.
    I mean this is like WTF square WTF cube ….
    In a totally full stadium how did you see the “Kaminapan” in his baap’s eyes??
    How did you see his baap in the first place in such a huge crowd.. let alone kaminaapan??

    But apparently its a Kjo movie…. anythg can happen.

    I saw 3pm show on Sunday. Theatre was 50% full which is like average occupancy.

    Most of people liked it until the climax but I think climax was a downer for most of them.

    —- I saw it with 8 others and it everyone shared the same thought that VARUN DHAWAN was best amongst all the new comers.
