Top 10 all time highest grossing Telugu movies at Box Office

Telugu film industry is the second biggest film industry in India after Bollywood. It produces hundreds of big-budget movies every year. After Bollywood, this is the only industry, which spends heavily on the film-making and promotions. Tollywood movies would release not only in Andhra Pradesh, but also in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and a few other states in North India. Several movies have been listed in all time highest grossing Indian movies.
Telugu movies like Magadheera, Gabbar Singh, Racha, Dookudu, Julayi, Eega, Pokiri, Jalsa, Indra, Brandavanam and Simhadri are some of the big budget movies, which have been made using high technology. They have done wonders at the Box Office and become the all time highest grossing movies in Tollywood.
Pawan Kalyan’s “Gabbar Singh”
Gabbar Singh, which was made with a budged of Rs 28 crores, was released on May 11 and received an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. It has shattered all opening records of 81 years of Telugu Cinema. It has completed 50 days in 306 centers. Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan starrer, which has raked in approximately Rs 120 crores, is the first film to start club of 100 crore films in Tollywood.
Ram Charan Teja’s “Magadheera”
Magadheera was made with a budget of Rs 39 crore and SS Rajamouli had used high technology, which was used in Hollywood. It has set several new records and one among them is that it is the fastest grosser of Rs 50 crores. Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer movie has completed 50 days in 302 centers. It has raked in Rs 89 crores at the worldwide Box Office.
Mahesh Babu’s “Dookudu”
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu, which was made with a budget of Rs 38 crores, is the first Telugu movie to gross $ 1 million at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Srinu Vaitla directed film has grossed Rs 54 crore at worldwide Box Office in 50 days. The movie has completed 50 days in 256 centers and 100 days in 31 direct centers.
SS Rajamouli’s “Eega”
Graphical action extravaganza Eega has opened to an overwhelming response at the Box Office in India and overseas. It is the third movie to gross $ 1 million at the USA Box Office. It is also one among the fastest Rs 50 grosser movies in India. It has completed 50 days in 48 centers.
