Will KHILADI 786 Prove To Be A Dark Horse At Box Office ?
2012 proved to be a very interesting year for Akshay Kumar. He delivered biggest hits of the year in “Housefull 2″ and “Rowdy Rathore” followed by disaster of epic proportion “Joker”. And last month he again delivered a huge surprise as producer at box office with a concept driven sleeper hit “OMG Oh My God!”.
Last week teaser of his next release “Khiladi 786″ was released. Film is jointly produced by Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya. Film’s first poster was out long back and film was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali but later rescheduled for 7th December.
Film was never considered very hot initially but after first teaser trade is expecting big bucks from the film. Film has Akshay in full blown fun and action avatar and it has been projected as next offering from the biggest franchise Khiladi series of Akshay Kumar.
What makes scenario more interesting is that a week before release of “Khiladi 786″, another much awaited Aamir starrer “Talaash” will hit the cinemas. This is Aamir’s next release after record breaking “3 Idiots”. After two weeks of film’s release on 7th December, “Khiladi 786″ will face monstrous “Dabangg 2″of Salman Khan.
Going by teaser and insider info about the film, it is a roller coaster fun rider and it is full of entertainment quotient. Film looks to do some serious damage at box office and it will be very interesting to see who will win the battle at box office – perfectionist or Khiladi, only time will answer the question.

In the times when a solo release comes with a fortune, arrival of one biggie a week after another biggie is not a bad idea. ‘Khiladi 786? as well as ‘Talaash‘ can comfortably survive in their first and second week of run despite competition. As for the box office run, ‘Khiladi 786? will most definitely cross the 100 crore mark. Remember, the franchise has a huge recall value and the teaser has met with a good repsonnse too.

for JTHJ, I appreciate good cinema, i thought that JTHJ would be like superd romantic movie but now have little doubt after music and trailer.
