My God’, has started penning a film which is again based on a hit
Gujarati play and talks about a couple dealing with their thalassemia-
stricken twins. ‘Oh My God’ was based on a Gujarati play ‘Kanji Virudh (vs) Kanji’. Both
the film and the play have garnered a lot of appreciation for its
content. Now Mandalia is working on a script from his play ‘Chini Mini’. “This film is again from a play of mine with Vipul Mehta called ‘Chini
Mini’. It’s about a couple who deliver twin daughters, suffering from
thalassemia. Its about the struggle of parents. It is a heart wrenching
story,” Mandalia told PTI.
