Resurrection of Akshay… Rooney Recommends OMG ( 5/5 stars )
Akshay Kumar lost his reputation with housefulls, khatta meetha and what not. I predicted myself that this guy has the worst taste in script sense.
I take back those words, and yes sir u are resurrected atleast in my eyes, for this wonderful heartwarming story.
Paresh Rawal emerges as the lead hero of this movie (being in all frames nearly) (rare for bollywood) alongwith the director as they pack enough punch, and surprises and twist for which i expected to be simple and stale story.
I was genuinely surprised by the second half of the movie, which led to the climax which has to be quite educational and intelligent and dramatic at the same time.
Akshay kumar is simply terrific in this Avatar of God, and i am happy and thankful Salman didnt do this role.
Special mention in acting department to Mithun Chakrobarty, hats off… he talks and delivers with his facial muscles and body movements.
Thought Provoking Script, entertainment, good music and good fun, all the hallmarks of an Aamir Khan film were present, and thankfully it was not by him but someone else who i hope follows this further. And yes i shed a tear or two on few occassion, as i sincerely felt heartwarming, while seeing the movie.
5 / 5 stars.
Rooney Recommends.
ps: i hope akshay now keeps this trust. I hope he understand his importance as a star-actor.
