BOI: Barfi Shows Jump In Collections On Wednesday


Barfi! had a jump on collections on Wednesday as there were holidays in Maharashtra and Karnataka and other places benefited in evening shows as next day is like a holiday due to the bandh. The collections on Wednesday are likely to come in over 7 crore nett which is huge for a Wednesday.

In Mysore the collections on Wednesday were nearly double the collections of Tuesday.

The bandh will hit collections badly on Thursday as multiplexes in most parts of the country will remain closed. At the moment the film looks set to hit 85 crore nett lifetime and could even hit 90 crore nett.

    Gorilla’s WOM is again bang on.
    I am sure the second weekend of Barfi will be Huge and the film will cross 100 Cr.
    Even the final nett that BOI is predicting denotes a blockbuster/superhit status for Barfi.

    Would have nailed 100 cr had UTV given it 2 clear weeks. Still has an outside chance. It will sell out In its 2nd weekend. Hope it has enough screens. Can do 15 or more easily.

    I forsee a 80-90cr Nett here[Though, I wud be the Happiest if it Crosses Rajneeti OR 100cr].

    This bcz, Heroine at Good WOM can do a 60cr IMO.

    If Heroine WOM is Bad, then the 100cr Route for Barfi! bcms Easier.

    100 looks very difficult. 90 is difficult but than 100cr is huge so there are bound to be some difficulties.
