Priyanka Chopra is getting a lot of appreciation for her terrific performance in the new release Barfi!. The actress in turn is thankful to Shahrukh Khan for helping her prepare for the role.

In the movie, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz, Priyanka plays an autistic girl, not unlike the leading role Shahrukh Khan played in Karan Johar’s movie My Name Is Khan. Apparently, all the research that Shahrukh did for his role came handy for Priyanka who is his good friend.

The 30-year-old actress took to Twitter to thank Shahrukh.

“Also thank you SRK for lending me all your ‘My name is Khan’ research, you gave me perspective on Jhilmil..owe you another one..love always,” she tweeted.

The actress is also on a high following the release of her first song ‘In My City’ (hear the song).

While promoting Barfi!, Priyanka Chopra also said that she is ready for marriage, but hasn’t come across her Mr. Right.

“From the age of four I have been waiting to get married. I am ready for it. My mom, dad are also ready but the only problem is I am not getting Mr. Right. So that is a technical problem,” Priyanka Chopra said.
