Salman is now Number 1 worldwide, not just India
The recent worldwide top grosser list from BOI shows Salman has 3 movies in top 5 in worldwide gross.
Aamir at this point cant stand with a single humongous grosser (like Sunny wasnt no. 1 after Gadar, though ofcourse Sunny’s Gadar was a fluke, Aamir has been consistent)
SRK still leads overseas but falls short worldwide. Ah, that must pinch! The strategy to court the high priced overseas ticket didnt work very well. Lets see where JTHJ puts him, but for now, he is quite behind.

7I don’t think this list can define any actor with Numbers 1 2 3 4 because you can’t say Aamir is no.1 with only 3 idiots on Top and also can’s say sallu is no.1 with 3 films in top 5 as it came “recently” after 2010 so same applies to srk as he has been consistent but falters after 2010….
I strongly believe that these number games are just for critics and crazy fans and absolutely has no importance to the Actors as they would also agree with me. I know no actor believe in this things except srk.
The fact is that the only no.1 we can give is/was big B just because he was way ahead than any other actor for not only 2-3 years but many years.

his solo delayed average films like CCCC used to take more opening and do much more than aamir’ multistarrer DCH or garv footfalls were equal to MHN.
its only after 2005 he lost the track only to come back harder in 2009.
and about akshay who touched 15crores only in 2003 forget hrithik who was newcomer then he was even far behind than even govinda and sunny deol.
salman gave him his first highest grosser to collect more than 26crores mujse shadi karogi remained his highest film ever in whole carer till year 2005.
yes salman had a bad phase since 2006 till 2008 and every superstar has a bad phase which salman also had 2006-08 .when at the same time akki had the best ever year in his whole career 2007 and was doing far better than salman around 2007 but that doesn’t mean he will become bigger star than salman.
to become superstar it takes many years with ATBB BB or at least highest grossers not a single year or few good years at the BO which akki had around 2007.
