Ek Tha Tiger 4th Week Collections
Ek Tha Tiger showed a continued pattern of fall in it’s 4th week at the domestic box office. The movie made a small 0.23 Crores on it’s 5th Thursday at the box office.
The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer’s total domestic collections as of now is 196.47 Crores. Ek Tha Tiger‘s another 50 Crores plus at the overseas box office brings up it’s worldwide box office collections to 246.47 Crores.
The movie which was expected to beat 3 Idiots records now will only end up being the 2nd largest grosser Bollywood flick especially coz Ek Tha Tiger could not maintain the momentum it generated in it’s 1st extended weekend.
After losing a lot many screens to Raaz 3, Ek Tha Tiger had been struggling the whole week for numbers. With the release of Barfi! today the movie will again lose most of the screens it was enjoying as of now.
It seems Ek Tha Tiger will not make more than a couple more crores before it goes off screens in the coming week. It seems Salman fans will have to wait for Dabangg 2 for the Tiger Khan to break 3 Idiots record.

BOI is far behind at 188-190Slight disappointment at what could have been, but amazing run still!

3 3160-170 were general expectations,it has done better than the expectations but then nobody has expected raaz3 to do 70-80 cr business,it shows how much market has expanded.. even barfi seems to have opened to 10+ cr..

3 2Tony .. yes. ETT ticket price hiked was even more than normal and it had not even reversed after that. The multiplex where i usually see movie @150/-, i paid 220/- for Raaz-3. Difference between Jannat-2 and Raaz-3 is just ticket price inflation. Else first week footfalls are same. These numbers are plain misleading if compared with just 2 months back releases. You can say market has expanded by minimum 25-30% and Raaz-3 first week collections has this inflation induced. You will see similar results for Barfi.

3 2Was it any tough mathematical calculation ? Though budget is not confirmed for Raaz-3 .. yet i took 25 Crore and ETT was 90 Crore including P&P(75 Crore was production cost)
Assuming 75 Crore Nett lifetime of Raaz-3 .. its 300% ROI (Investment VS Nett …. 75/25*100 = 300%)
Assuming 188 Crore lifetime of ETT .. its 208% ROI (188/90*100 = 208%)
PS : i am taking Nett for ROI .. for Dist share both will proportionally decrease.

1 1Raaz3 production cost is 22cr and if you include P&P then it will go above 30cr. coz both ETT and Raaz3 were promoted on same scale but promotions of ETT might look expensive due to Salman Khan’s presence and attention towards him but its not more than 10cr… anyways, I got my answers…

7 6A huge disappointment by bringing in 30+ opening day filled with numerous Holidays. This easily couldve beaten 3I if it were a liked film. Dabangg 2 will not cross 160.
