Has Akshay’s 100 cr run complete? Will OMG or Khiladi 786 fetch another 100 cr?
Akshay Kumar began this year with a roll. His two films Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore were super hit at the box office and raked in a lot of moolah. Seems like Akki could not achieve his 100 crore hattrick
with his 100th film! But Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan combined got their hattrick of flop after Jaaneman, Tees Maar Khan and Joker. However the second half seems to have a slowed down the Khiladi
Kumar. Akshay’s films Housefull 2 earned approx 14 crores at the box
office on the opening day and Rowdy Rathore earned approx 15.1
crores on the opening day. The box office graph saw a shocking drop in
the figures as his last release Joker, bombed at the box office and
earned a meagre 1.75 crores approx on the opening day. During the first weekend Rowdy Rathore earned approx 48.5 crores and Housefull
2 earned 42 crores. However going by the figures, Joker is expected to earn approx 15
crores in it’s first week. Joker is facing tough competition at the box
office with Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger, which has proved to be a greater crowd puller. Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore both touched the
100crore mark and earned 114 crores and 131 crores at the box office
respectively in the final earnings. However by the response received
by Joker, doesn’t seem like this will be crossing even the 20 crore mark
in box office collections.
Akshay Kumar fans however need not be disappointed. He has two
more major releases this year- namely – OMG- Oh My god and Khiladi 786. With his successful run of the Khiladi movies back in the 90?s , lets hope Akshay can redeem his Khiladi avatar and enthrall the audiences.

3K786 Should be surely hit 100cr mark at BoxOffice.
Because its theam based on Punjab & according to source- music will one of the best Of HR.
Promotion will be huge like RR / even better.
And About OMG – this will be epic . Dont know how it’ll earn but critics(except Chu**ya Taran adarsh) as well as audience will love it. -

7 7OMG seems more like a Paresh Rawal movie with a side role/extended appearance by Akshay .. if that is the case, no chance of 100 cr, rather Akshay’s position will deteriorate.
Akki is not being bashed right now for Joker because he didnt promote it. If he promotes OMG as his film and it turns out his role is minimal (even if its a good film) he will take brickbats for disappointing fans.
K786 similarly is hard to tell. It seems like an HR film. IF that is the case, then again no 100 cr.

9 7I am thinking about how much Khiladi786 will collect above 120 cr.
There’s now way it will collect less than 120cr domestic.As far as OMG is concerned it’s not Akshay’s film. He has done an extended cameo. We see him in promos and songs because he want to promote OMG at his best as it’s his home production and tested film from a very successful play. It will collect 40-50cr as there’s lot of competition in the form of kamaal dhamaal malamal in same week and other releases in the following weeks!
2012 is only Akshay’s year because no other actor has ever delivered THREE 100cr grossers in a single year.

11 9yeah disaster like sawan, mamk, veer. Abe 2010 me sallu fallu ki career start hui hai. Jaldi khatam bhi ho jaayegi. Akshay is still no.2 even when sallu is on top. I just wanna show you that sallu is no Amitabh. Akshay is there to give him superb answer with HF2, RR, K786. You have to come here at the end of the year. There will be lot of talk abt Akshay than sallu fallu as AKSHAY WILL BE THE FIRST AND ONLY SUPERSTAR TO ACHIEVE 3 100 CR GROSSERS IN A SINGLE YEAR. Regarding K786, no idea, I only saw the first look poster of the film till now and that suggested HR was both producer and actor, enough reason for me to believe he will have a meatier role in it.
If thats not the case, good for Akshay, and definitely good for HR

So he won’t have 2 200cr for sure.
On the other hand Akshay has done so well with HF2 and RR. And I guarantee that K786 will collect min 130 cr.SOS and YRF on diwali will get two weeks then comes talaash. I tell you talaash will be sandwiched. Mark my words. After diwali season, there will be slowdown from audience to watch movies as they will re-start their routine and that’s the time talaash comes. Even if it gets excellent WOM then also will struggle as on 7th Dec K786 will arrive and masses love Action-Comedy than thriller.

Yaar ye kunder aisa hi hai, pahle isne ,kahan ki movie 3D me hogi & special effects Hollywood se (Prime studio se ,which works for Avetar) use karenge.And issilye aakki ne paisa bhi lagaya but ye sala aakki ki watt hi laga di.
