My Predictions for Joker.
I have always believed Shirih Kunder to be totally talentless. ( And don’t think much of Farah Khan and Sajid Khan either). But what makes the case of Shirish worse is atht he has pretensions to being creative. He actually has zero script sense, as was evident in Jaanemann. ( I havent seen TMK). This one will fold up in the region of 25cr give or take 10%.

0@utkal, for once i can wholeheartedly agree with you. I could never understand what people (mostly Salman fans maybe) saw in Jaaneman that they think it was great. I found it totally crap and am glad now everyone will agree Shirish is the most talentless guy in the industry.

July 11, 2012 at 8:35 PM ยท Log in to ReplyGrreat! I will take this over a hundred Rowdy Rathores or Housefuls ( which I did not bother to see). Looks much more intesresting than Tees Maar Khan. Of the same level as say, Jaaneman. He failed totally there in living upto the ;promise of the trailer . He may fail yet again. But Jaaneman is a film i DID bother to buy a ticket for and see. ( though not for Tees Maar Khan.)
The core concept here is superb. absolutely top notch. The attitude is also right. It is refreshing for example to see Sonakshi doing a Sridevi style vivacious comedienne than just a simpering traditional Indian beauty. My only grouse is that the computer graphics could have been better. But if the tone is not 100% serious it may not matter. Though it would have helped.
This is the direction for Bollywood films to take. I applaud Shirish for trying this. Even if he does not succeed, someone else will.
Though I pray, he does a Gowrikar and thsi turns out to be his Lagaan

0 0Bournvita: There was no prediction made. I was jjust ‘ praying’ that a theme like this is made to work, because that will be great for Hindi films. Just like If Ra-ONe hada script good enough to work that would have been good for Hindi films. But you know what I think about the talent of Anubhav Sinha and Shrish Kunder. I have posted on them a number of times. You can dig them out.
