Ek Tha Tiger has done extremely well in Overseas and is amongst the top ten grossers of all time. The film should close at a figure close to $10 million. Ek Tha Tiger was not released in Pakistan which has kept business lower.With Pakistan it was sure to cross $10.50 million. The business after two weekends is as follows
UK – £1,165,000
North America – $2,348,000
UAE – $2,250,000
Australia – $572,000

1 1Dabangg 2 should be huge overseas also as its releasing on Christmas. Xmas holidays here in England are mainly 2 weeks whereas on Eid many had to go for work and couldnt even have an holiday. Ridiculous. Xmas holidays are my fav as I love the settings and feel. Plus it’s not just Christmas day but boxing day and then New Years day

Both 3I and MNIK had special advantages of huge overseas release/overseas friendly genre and international distributor (fox), so there success is a different matter.
Among normal bollywood movies, I would say Don 2 is #1, and then a few movies (incl ETT) in the $10+ million category (hard to arrive at exact numbers with FX rates, etc)
Shitty commentary of BOI continues though. ETT could very well be in top 5

i can calculate footfall but there wud be disagreement over average ticket price. keeping in mind the ss base of sallu, the price cant be more than 110 rs but many insist its higher.
at 110 rs the 6 day footfall will be 113 net = gross 150 divided by 110 = 1.36 cr
total footfall tiull date wud be 250 divided by 110 = 2.27 cr
but if u take the average ticekt price at 120 (which is not possible considering salman’s ss base and the fact that ticket prices go down after the 1st weekend)
the 16 day footfall will be 250 divided by 125 = 2 cr.
thats the footfall of a badly trended, critically ridiculed, stupid film (unke hisaab se). jis din achchhi film (unke hisaab se) mil gayi to shalu didi footfall ke neeche hi dab ke ….. amar ho jaayegi.
