After Mallika Sherawat in Murder and Jacqueline Fernandez in Murder 2, the Bhatts are all set to introduce a brand new face (read: body) as the heroine in the third installment of the franchise. And while they tried to keep her identity strictly under wraps, we’ve found out the newest Murder girl is called Sara Loren or at least that’s the name she’s adopted, inspired by Hollywood actress Sophia Loren. Turns out she is popular Pakistani actress Mona Lizza, who made her Indian debut two years ago in Pooja Bhatt’s Kajraare only to unceremoniously vanish thereafter. Sara, nee Mona, is now a resident of Mumbai.
Interestingly, she’s been resurrected by Vishesh Films at the expense of another actress: Aditi Rao Hydari of London Paris New York fame. Apparently, the change-over happened within a month before shooting, leaving Aditi baffled and embarrassed.
Explaining why Sara replaced Aditi, a source close to the project said, “It’s because the Bhatts see Sara’s potential to sizzle up the screen with her sex appeal. Even Mallika and Jacqueline had a couple of duds to their discredit before they were relaunched in the Murder series. The Bhatts are confident Mona, now named Sara Loren, would make the same impact as Mallika and Jacqueline.”
Apart from Sara, Murder 3 has one more surprise in store. It is learnt Mukesh Bhatt’s son Vishesh, who makes his directorial debut with this film, wanted Randeep Hooda and not usual suspect Emraan Hashmi as the leading man. Indeed, the steamy scenes between Randeep and Sara being shot on the beaches of South Africa currently have become the talking point of the entire unit.
Said Mukesh, “We’ve got Sara Loren opposite Randeep shooting at this very minute in South Africa for Murder 3. At Vishesh Films, we believe not just in making movies but also destinies. We believe Sara has the potential to take over from where Mallika and Jacqueline left off in Murder and Murder 2.”
