ETT 2nd friday business:4.50-4.75 crs (BOI)


Ek Tha Tiger had good collections on its second Friday. There is a drop but overall collections are still at a high level. Below are second Friday figures from some circuits with first Friday figures of those circuits in brackets.

Delhi/UP – 100 (255)

East Punjab – 38 (122)

CI – 17 (43)

Rajasthan – 26 (74)

All figures in lakhs

The drop in the above circuits combined is around 63% but the circuit totals are better than most films apart from Three Idiots and Dabanng so its possible the film can come out with the third highest second weekend of all time if it shows good growth on Saturday and Sunday. The collections should come in at around 4.50-4.75 crore nett on its second Friday giving it potential for a 20 crore nett weekend.

    1 crs less than expected……… so weekend gonna look like 20 …. ETT 1st 9 days=141+20+10(rest)…. 170 crs look more realistic number….Blockbuster nontheless

    4.75 is lowest number. They will revise it the way they revised Monday number from 16cr to 18.75cr.

    i cant understand why hasnt boi given each days collections the following day.nor have they given teritorial breakdown of tuesday nd thursday.there’s a huge difference between boi nd taran figures.for RR boi nd taran had almost same figures.so why the difference here.anyways ETT is going steady at the boxoffice after a rollicking start.142cr week(boi).if 2nd weekend is 20 cr as boi is prdicting here the 2nd week can go upto 30cr which would take the collections to 172cr.joker has absolutely no hype nd lots of negativity.although akki is my 2nd favourite after salman i dont see joker making any headway at the boxoffice.3rd week of ETT can be around 10cr nd 4th week 4cr.lloking all set for 180cr and a 4th solo ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER FOR SALMAN.BRAVO!!

    The answer to your question is simple.

    The figures posted by Taran and Komal are exactly same which is proof that they arent using thr sources, they are copy-pasting YRF figures.

    There is nothing like Taran or Komal figure in ETT’s case.

    There are 2 figures.
    One by BOI and one by YRF-The distributor/producer

    housefull 2 did 80% of its first week ..for the lifetime collections
    Rowdy did 75% of its first week …for the lifetime collections
    ..!! now if Ek tha tiger had done 140.25 crores in its 9 day week ..and 125.25 in its first 7 days..! now if ek tha tiger can just manage 40% or 30% then i think salman fans will go crazy..! accet what reality is the movie is crashed badly..!! 4 holidays and still 175 to 180 is this u call a blockbuster .>???

    there was diff in colection of RR,AP btwn taran & boi eventhough its not huge as BB or ett…
    RR-Boi had 76 cr 1st week & 131.5 cr liftime
    taran had 78 cr 1st week & 137-138 cr lifetime..
    U can see 6-7 cr diff in lifetime…

    For BB diff was even bigger
    boi weekend 38 cr lifetime 100
    taran 45 cr liftm 110 cr…

    Anyways taran always gve producer nos & his 2nd week is always similar or lower than boi…

    no yar it happens wit all movies… Diff for BB was biggest so far then comes ett….
    7 cr diff in weekend for bb with lower base.. The diff goes higher with higher base…just 4 cr diff was for ett 1st 3 days…
    I dont thnk ther was much diff between ready clctn even ap has bigger diff than ready… BG has 7 cr diff even RR was same…

    Ett lets see as boi didnt updated teritorial breakdown yet.

    as i have said above if i have to take final numbers i will believe boi.so acc to boi RR is 131 cr.so ETT is already 147cr acc to boi nd will end around 180cr i guess.although i hope it reaches abt 190cr.4th solo ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER for salman.its the highest grosser of the year so far nd i hope dabangg2 is a even bigger blockbuster.

      if u see their commentary u wud know it wud be between 137-140 cr not more than that…..

      and i think acc. to BOI lifetime wud be 160-165 cr……

    During Ra one when SRK fans posted taran or komal figures they where ridiculed by salman n Aamir fans… And nw the same fans are going with taran nos. Hypocrisy at it’s best :P Tomo who knows they might start stating Jajus figures :P

      Thats because BOI hasn’t updated ETT collection yet… Its 12th day for ETT n yet 7 Days figure to be updated… So no other choice than quoting other trade’s figure…
      (Personally I m waiting for BOI figures…)
