Biases Of Boxofficeindia
Look at the desperation of boxoffice india to say negative things abt ek tha tiger. first the rules of the game.
1. the monday (1st working day) crash is always measured against friday (the 1st day).
2. 50% crash is very good, 55-60 is normal.
3. this is for normal weekends not exahusting huge audiences in longer weekends.
4. its calculated at all india level.
but look at boi.
they are decalring a 64% carsh (just 4% above noramal….
that too against monday the national holiday for eid (shudnt they be calculating against the thursday collections which was a working day?) ………
for a wednesday release that has exhausted a huge part of the audiences in the long weekend with 3300 prints…..
but the best part is ….
not for all india basis but for multiplex dominated non muslim population constituenciues.
there has to be a limit to biases. yesterday boi said any star can do wat ett did on a national holiday (ra, don2, agnipath they forgot) and today consider this…..

1. they think in 2010 salman was at no 3 star (yes in dabangg year)
2. yestaerday they said any star can do wat ett did.
3. and now they are taking just the gurgaon crash, against a national holiday, for a long weekend film
4. and still they did not find the carsh more than 64% (60 is normal) they still call it a crash in gurgaon.

Height of desparation was under-reporting Monday collections by 3cr.I mean WTF… ! They purposely under-reported and by the time everyone had read it and posted it everywhere they came and updated it to 18.75cr.

nor in 2005 (wen he hag two films in the top 5 hits of the year and 3 successes.
and then they have the cheek to not put salman at no 1 in 2010!
and they are not updating records on top hits page for 2011. instead they have put up a manipualted list of 38 films (yes i have heard a countdown of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100) rated for international gross (as if entertainment tax is something the industry earns) just becoz there is no ent tax abroad and this helps srk’s overseas collections help the pathetic totals.
SHAME ON BASTARDS OF INDIA – BOI.

0 0@sanjeev – not only BASTARDS OF BOXOFFICEINDIA did not update tuesday colections of ett throughout yesterday (as they had called it a crash on the basis of gurgaon 64% drop, after 7 days of extraordinarily high collections) but they havent done it even today.
pehle to mujhe laga ki yaa to boi ke bastards ko tuesday collections dekh ke heart attack ya heartfail ho gaya ya ek chullu paani mein doob mare. lekin now i knowthey are alive and have updated the wednesday collections. obviously they skipped tuesday out of embarrasment.
now i dont even trust BOI numbers. i will much rather take komal/taran numbers from now on.
