GOW 2 Keeps Low Profile; Hopes Raised For Weekend
Perhaps due to lack of sufficient publicity or perhaps because it released on a weekday, the business of Gangs of Wasseypur Part II (GOW 2) has not lived up to expectations. Opening day on Wednesday drew a tepid response at the ticket counter, with the film’s first-day collections, pan-India, amounting to Rs 2.85 crore. The response on the second day too has been lukewarm so far but tradewallahs believe the film will gain momentum during the weekend.
