0 1what is the buzz level for this film..i am not liking how yashraj have screwed up the promotions..didnt need ra1 type of promotion..but max ppl need to be aware..decent level promotion would have been good..and they have not released the video for the best song of the album ” saiyaara”which is a kind of song tht needs time to grow…it could have added a lot more natural buzz like teri meri did ffor bg

4 2Yes dennycrane, surprisingly the buzz is very low! No promotions of it release or anything. In fact many are thinking it’s releasing on 18th or 19th!
I have been touring India for a while now, and I don’t hear the songs being played anywhere. Somehow it feels like ng is overestimating the reach of ett.
My honest prediction – 21 to 22 cr-

1 1@dennycrane and RJ – I’m sorry but you guys couldn’t be further away from the truth. Firstly Mashallah is the no1 song on Heartneats and has been in the top 5 here in the BBC Asian Download Chart ever since it released. Saiyara is also not far behind.
Secondly, Salman and Kat have given dozen of interviews soo many that even I can’t keep up
They have visited Dance India Dance lil masters, will be on Indian Idol later on today. Not only that they will appear on Jhalak Dikhlaja and possibly on Comedy Circus. They have visited Ahmedabad and to my knowledge Delhi remains. They didn’t need to promote much as the trailers did most of the work and generated genuine buzz.
Plus later on today Kat will have a live chat with her fans followed by Tiger himself. The film has been trending on twitter (not that it matters much) but reason being because in many places the advance bookings have started and many places are filling up.
Lastly, my local cinema will have 6 yes 6 shows for the film. Just to illustrate my point Ra-1 had 3 shows. The film has hype here make no mistake about it and on Eid day i fully expect it to break records here in England.

does the cast of Cocktail visited DID or Indian Idol….but it still has the Buzz….and please dont say online buzz is there as Online User know even the release sate of Vivek oberoi movies so does his movies open big…answer is no……..

1 1i think yashraj startegy is fine.
as it is there is an ‘aware’ section of the audiences that have unrealistically huge expectations from ett. at least by keeping a low key promotion yashraj are ensuring that the entire country doesnt end up having the same. its always better to go with average expectations, like 3 idiots and come out pleasantly surprised.
agar sab hi 300 cr predict karne lagte to problem ho jaati.

2 0dude….u will be in shock to know that the Price of Ticket for Ek Tha Tiger is Less than(yes less) or Equal to GOW part 2 in Delhi,East Punjab
for Example in Satyam Cinemas the ticket price is 20 Rs less than that of GOW part 2…..
Same for Eros…..
while the Fun cinemas which were saying they will hike prices have kept it same with GOW part 2….
only Giltz cinemas have increased prices by 10 Rs….. -

1 0The buzz is fine. And no need of going in promotional overdrive.
Infact that backfires most of the times if you do too much of “on your face” promotion.Movie is having extended weekend. Even if ppl might not be aware its releasing on 15th but def they are aware that its coming on EID.
So jo log 15th ko nahi aayenge wo weekend pe jaroor aayenge.
