One wouldn’t have expected a Satyajit Ray inspired film in the modern era but that indeed has turned out to be the case. Moreover the film too happens to be the most unusual suspect – ‘Joker‘.

“The core plot and narrative of the film bears resemblance to some of the suspense stories written by Ray. Though he is known for his dramatic outings, some of his films boasted of a very whacky narrative. ‘Joker‘ is inspired by that”, a source attached to the film said.

This is evident from the fact that though the film’s promos have clearly conveyed that all aliens are fake and created by Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as a ‘tamasha’, there is also a possibility of a twist in the tale.
