My children are my best friends: Shahrukh Khan
Superstar Shahrukh Khan reveals that his children, son Aryan and daughter Suhana, are his “best friends” as he has garnered a friendship with them.
Shahrukh Khan, who has been in the film industry for over two decades, has no friends in the showbiz and says his children are his “best friends”.
“My kids are my best friends. I read this line somewhere – I love my children not because they are my children but because I have garnered a friendship with them,” said SRK who has two children – son Aryan and daughter Suhana.
“I am realising this… as they are getting older, they are my greatest friends. I realised this on Friendship Day and I really enjoy myself with them. I think my mental age is between 12 to 14 so it is nice to have two friends that I can ever have,” Shahrukh added.
On Friendship Day, which was on Sunday, Shahrukh Khan got a bright orange friendship band from his daughter and a black one “from a lovely Russian family outside my house”.
“Feeling friendly now,” he had tweeted.

for instance srk beating shirish kunder or fighting with stadium guard are not the stories that need planting. off course there my contention is srk is doing those acts deliberately to attract media attention.
@rajeev – i think in ur view a woman shud leave her professional identity behind after marriage but salman’s family is more broad minded. both his bhabhis and sisters work. they are a modern indian urban family not some ganwaar family like bachchans and sharukhs where the son how ever ugly has to be launched in movies but the daughters marriaed off. gauri who comes from posh south delhi background is sitting at home choolha phoonk rahi hai while malaika, seema, alvira and even the young arpita work. simlarly bachchan’s daughter is married off at 21 while ugly abhishgek bachchan is launched after relaunch in films. i thnk these ganwaars, backwards need to take a cue from salman’s family.

To add to it, why this demand has suddenly came up before the release of the film ??? Sabarjit has been detained in Pakistan since very long. Why only now started asking for his release and visiting his village and meeting family members ??? Where was our hero before ? And as u said very rightly, the demand died immediately after the threat of banning of ETT in Pakistan (like he said sorry as soon as SS and whole India threatened to remove the film Dabang from theatres when our hero gave that epic interview to Pakistani channel related to 26/11 Mumbai attacks)
Why his pain gets ballooned up before the release of film ? last year it was BG, now ETT in between i think pain killers were in action.
When father accompany daughter for cycling it is PR but when bhabi is made to dance to the tunes of Jethh (pita samaan) she becomes professional (ignoring the fact that husband was out of work and wife was forced to work).

2. arbaaz khan has been constantly working. he has more than one release almost every year of the last decade. thats much more prolific than aamir and sharukh. malaika works becoz she is a professional vj, actor and dancer with an identity of her own. the only role of malaika that u can undermine is her producer credit for dabangg.
3. and when did i say shweta and gauri shud have been actors? they cud have been any profession. and wasnt jaya bhaduri asked to stop working after marriage? bachcahns are a conservative family and there is enuff proof. wat surprises me is srk-gauri being modern enuff for gauri to wear shortest of dresses (which i have no objevtions to) but not wroking which is a real indication of empowerment of women.

@Danish I am talking of the interview which Salman gave during dabangg days to Pakistani channel saying “since elite people have been killed in this attack, it has become a big news. Also “there is no role of pakistan govt in this attack bla, bla, bla……! (when whole India was trying to find out who the real culprits are, though all the fingers were raised towards Pakistan and its govt. I was refering to this interview which back fired.)
On MNIK – Less said is better. It was the first film in the history to get first day NO SHOW. Was it created controversy ?? Do u still feel because of SS it earned money ?? Saturday was half show (People started comming to theatres from afternoon shows). Sunday evening Blast in German Bakery Pune hence again red alert with the result people again were back to homes. Well u r free to make ur opinion.
About Gauri Khan work – @ Rajeev has already written a lot. Still u must be aware of the project she is doing in Pune, Named Glitterati (six towers project), the project consists of high-end signature homes in suburban Pune. And no Suzzain Roshan is there.
