Jism 2 Crashes On Monday

Jism 2 crashed at the box office all over on Monday as it collected around 2-2.25 crore nett. The writing was on the wall on Saturday but even still to be over 70% down from Friday is a first. The total after four days including paid previews is around 23.50 crore nett and the week is likely to finish in the 27-28 crore nett range and lifetime business at 30 crore nett.

The film will put most of its distributors in the red by big sums with Mumbai alone accounting for a 2 crore plus loss. The producers made good money as they sold as they managed to get good rates. The final scenario for the film is similar to Ferrari Ki Sawaari which was big winner for producers but big loser for distributors

Jism 2 is one of those rare cases where the film crashed in the weekend itself. Don’t remember the last time a film did less on Sunday compared to Friday (and that too a non-holiday Friday).

I think the last one was as early as May 4 th 2012 …remember Jannat 2
It had Lower Sunday(less than 8 cr) collections than Friday(8.40cr)

Jism 2 is also one the worst movie I have watched in last 5-7 years. Except Randeep Hooda acting (to some extent)there is nothing that is worth giving even half star in whole movie. So my rating for Jism 2 is 0.5/5

I saw it yesterday (not in the theatre!). Pooja Bhatt ne tragedy banaate banaat kamaal ki comedy banaa di :D Aise dialogues aaj tak nahi sune…

“Har jism ki expiry date hoti hai”
“Woh aisi pyaas tha jisse meri pyaas bujhti thi
“Us jaanwar ko apne dil mein paala tha isne”
