So what about this ?

may be he took his cue from shammi kapoor?
and even shammi kapoor saying so doesnt make it an official statement. who was shammi kapoor in 1979? a charactyer actor surviving on films of bachchan to play father.
jeetendra as a rival giving a tough time to bachchan saying it is a much more humble and credible thing, but not an official position.
the fact remains just as dev anand followed dilip kumar and srk followed salman, dharmendra and jeetandra followed bachchan breathing very close to his neck thru the 70s (dharam) and 80s (jeetu).
