1 1I like the style of kabir and anubhav more than Karan johar…kabir and anubhav might have sound over confident but look at kjo… He diabled like and dislike in the trailer of student of the year, deleted all the negative comments… However all comments are not blocked… Comments in favor of the movie are allowed… Even shirish kunder is ready to face negative comments, but kjo come on dude what u trying to show? U will take appreciation but u won’t accept criticism at all…

1 3This has the worst promotion since RBDJ (as YRF but obviously due to terrorist attack) but this doesn’t have such things. I think Salman is not happy with the movie/director/producer. Instead Spending more time on Dabang2.
PS. I am not talking about Hype, but for awareness promotion is needed atleast to get the kick in the audience to go and watch the movie in theatre.

1 0Yeah I agree. Promotion has to be one of the worst for such a big movie. Every movie does not have to be promoted like Ra One, but atleast the movie should make some noise. I was surprised when the other day my cousin was asking about when the movie is releasing, after seeing its poster in Inox.

He’s given around half a dozen interviews. Giving interviews right now as we speak. On top of that has visited DID lil masters. Then next week Indian Idol and Jhalak Dikhlaja. They will also visit Ahmedabad and Delhi amongst other places. There interview with Komal Nahta will be aired just before release. The film has HUGE hype and they have not gone overboard in promoting it which is a good thing. Yes personally I would have liked more promotion exotically a world premiere but not to be. Aug 15th folks

The Movie will go into a Promotional Overdrive this Week Onwards and Nearly evry Indian(who watches Movies at Theatres by NOT downloading) will be tempted to watch ETT.
Sad thing is the Muslim Population(I think Salman is the Biggest Star in the World fr dis Relegion of People) shud come in 5days late but thats not a Worry.
ETT has got Holidays on 15,18,19,20 so a RA.One like case cannot be Missed.

1 0ETT’s screen space at multiplexes should be one of the highest ever. I mean, one of the Pune exhibitor is going to show as many as 17 shows in his 4 screen multiplex. He says there should be should every 45 mins. This is heights!
Opening records are shattered will be an understatement. I am hoping it to do 115cr in first 6 days if its a good film.

0 0@Promotions : This is typical YRF strategy. They dont spend too much on publicity even for star-studded movies. Remember Tashan, Rab Ne, Chak De? The low key promotions are not necessarily related to poor content. Hope it is true in the case of ETT. It will be great to see Sallu in a good, entertaining movie (minus pathetic jokes and low-brow humor)

0 0Serenzy – Yes I watched TDKR. FDLS. I went with the BIGGEST of expectations. And why not. After all it was Nolan and Batman. And to top it the next movie after The Dark Knight and an end to a trilogy which was most awaited.
The movie started off on a brilliant note. The hijack scene simply blew my mind. And I knew I was in for another Nolan mind boggling experience.
Slowly the movie kept picking its pace…and dropping it. The story moved swiftly for the most part but some portions felt under developed, under written. And everytime that happened, the entertainment quotient would up the ante. Somewhere throughout the film, I kept waiting for that moment that would completely suck me in, that would render me empty minded, not knowing what I have just experienced. But that never happened. Not even after the movie ended. It got predictable and even sort of philosophically heavy.But dont get me wrong, I loved the movie. I loved the experience. But Nolan somehow fell short of what I expected. I ve always been connected as a character to his movies, but this movie felt like another summer blockbuster. And what disappointed me most was the fact that it ended one of my most fav trilogies and one of my most favorite characters, especially the way the director has envisioned it, on an underwhelming note.
But Bale was fantastic. Just loved his performance. Aur anne hathaway toh yaar kya batayein, dekh kar hi khush ho jaate hain. But her performance got me hooked on to her this time! In fact everyone was good, but the villain Bane was half baked, and not well utilized. Sometimes it even got hard to understand what he was saying. The back story didnt feel like a revelation. Somewhere everything just kept falling short, except for a few scenes that were monstrously-brilliantly executed.
So yes that was how I truly felt about the movie.
As a movie – 4/5
As a Nolan-Batman-End of Trilogy movie – 2.5/5And this is the first movie where I have 2 verdicts. Or maybe I am just still not able to decide how i feel.

Hahaha Dude…Similar Feeling Happnd to me wen Harry Potter Ended(I hv very much Personal Memories attatched wid it).
Abt the Movie, Even i too liked it but den again Not Mind-Blowin Stuff as Expectd!
And at many points I was able to Predict many things vich is a Sign of Disaster in a *NOLAN MOVIE*.
Anyways, a Good Attempt and Deffo a MustWatch but fell Short f (Sky High)Expectations.
