The Dark Knight Rises Has Bumper Opening
The Dark Knight Rises took a bumper opening at many places across the country as it opened to full houses.
The Hindi releases Challo Driver, Gattu and Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai all had very dull opening and could not find an audience on their very limited releases.
The Dark Knight Rises opened to a 80-85% response on average, at places it was 100% and at places 50-60% where Hollywood films tend to get lower openings. The opening is on par with The Amazing Spiderman in terms of occupancies but it’s release is not as wide as The Amazing Spiderman.

TDKR should have been promoted well but nevertheless it is just an epic like TDK.
Nolan is the best director today. -

0 0TDKR bloody well deserves to get a bumper opening! What a MOVIE man!!!
I thought they will never be able to top the Joker act, and yes the new villain is not a patch on Joker. But you know what, it did NOT matter! This film is more about the hero this time, the hero within. Some pacing issues like the last two films in the series but that is too small a complaint when everything else is so wonderful

0 0TDKR has a tagline of ‘the legend ends’ but i foresee the rise of a legend i.e. Nolan. Ofcourse he has already reachd the sky but for this man sky is not the limit. TDKR is another masterpiece by the gr8 man. I agree that Nolan is not as versatile as other successful director but its very difficult to even compete him in escapist cinemas. His achievements are unmatchable. Now i dont hav to think twice b4 comparing him with kubrick although MEMENTO remains my favourite movie.
