First it was supposed to come back in 2011, then June 2012, and now December 2012. Looks like Talaash is in a talaash for a release date. Next on the agenda, you should worry about Aamir’s illegitimate child in London who he just left stranded. I have a long list, for a guy like Aamir you can just go on and on and on. Never seen such an insecure actor like Aamir before.

0 0I truly believe Yash chopra was not man behind Veer zaara and Dil to pagal hai, these have Adi stamp all over. Even this time it will be Aditya behind the camera. Yash chopra contribution is not more than screenplay and story discussions and approval. At age 82 its almost impossible to take over command of every department and deliver the product as per current sensibilities of audience. Example Dev anand movies post age 70. This movie will have Adi stamp all over (And quite visible from movie stills).

1 0Unimpressive stuff! Dialogues are good but music is too loud and looks over-used.
Both films have huge weekend so somewhere that disadvantage of two biggies releasing on same day will be counterbalanced with an advantage of huge weekend. This clash should happen. Films wont suffer much as far as opening is concerned but yes if either one film is bad then the other film will take away huge advantage.
Rockie Bhau- Yaar, please dont downsize Bol Bachchan’s success. It has found appreciation, which is evident in its trending.. And in Maharashtra it will collect 30cr which is good because it had to suffer enormous competition every week. Singham’s case was different. It had no competition for three weeks and also the local flavor helped the film to make bigger business there.
Bol Bachchan is 6th clean hit for Shetty camp, please dont take away any credit from this superb director

Standalone this movie is a major let down and I am not alone. I have a full toli of frnds back in Maharashtra who are die hard fans of Shetty … but apparently no one is happy abt the way BB has turned out …
Talking abt competition … Singham also had competition from the first week itself from ZNMD, still it was able to collect huge in Mumbai.
Same was the case with G3. G3 was released with AR.Anyways BB is done deal ….. now its time for SOS and I am getting extremely positive feedback abt this one.

1 0Rockie bhau- Bro, I agree the opening is clearly because of this combination. But beyond weekend, this film have sustained very well that means the film has good word of mouth. And ofcourse few people may have not liked it, but thats case with every film. I know people who got bored by 3 idiots. I myself got bored with Om Shanti Om, the dirty picture and many such big hits, but that’s just my opinion. If Bol Bachchan managed a good 22.5cr in second week despite of such humongous competition, thats very good.
About Singham’s competition. Yes ZNMD was competition. But ZNMD was there from beginning itself. So ZNMD didn’t bring dent in SIngham’s business from second week or anything such. Business pe pehle se hi affect tha unlike Bol Bachchan where the film had to suffer from second week. I hope you are getting what I mean.
By The way, I agree Ajay is huge star in Maharashtra. And I dont remember any film which has done more than 50% business in Mumbai circuit itself except ALL THE BEST (best Shetty film after Singham IMO).

0 0Son of Sardar – looks like another masala movie with loads of comedy and action. Sure its gonna work. But I am disappointed in Ajay Devgn as he has stopped working in meaningful cinema. Why is he going the salman-akshay way and trying to be like a south-indian star?? He is one of the best talents of our film industry. He should do more movies like ZAKHM, APAHARAN & GANGAAJAL and not singham/bol-bachchan/golmaal etc.
