Cocktail Saturday Collection Update. Housefull Everywhere.
Cocktail has surpassed every trade analyst expectation and is having extraordinary collection everywhere all India on Saturday. Despite limited release and a huge fight with Bol Bachchan, Cocktail has demolished box office with its charm. Cocktail on Saturday is having housefull boards in many cinemas across all India.
Cocktail is having an occupancy of 80-90% on average across all India in multiplexes. It is even better than Friday figures. Cocktail single screen occupancy is also on rise with 60-65% occupancy registered for morning and noon shows. Cocktail wave have grasped the nation and if same upward trend continues for Cocktail humongous second day figure is expected at the box office India.
Cocktail is by far the biggest opener for Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and definitely for debutant Diana Penty. Who would have predicted such figures before the release of Cocktail at the Box office.

0Wow after 11cr Friday … can we expect 13cr Saturday and 15cr Sunday??
By this speed it will have a weekend bigger than that of BB that too competing with BB.
Also the main thing is BB had HUGE release, while Cocktail has very limited SS release and in plexes also BB has taken almost 35-40% of screenspace. So indeed its a great achievement.
Both movies have same first day numbers(around 11cr) but screen space of Cocktail is almst 50% of what BB had. AWESOME.

2) Can BB cross total of Singham??We had a similar fight at BO last July between ZNMD and Singham.
Singham was released 1 week after ZNMD and was in similar place like Cocktail. Singham got a very limited plex release because of ZNMD.But in the final tally Singham raced ahead of ZNMD.

Cocktail Vs BB (multistarrer)2) Both have specific audience. One is purely for SS and other is purely plex.
3) Both were having very less screen space because of prev weeks release doing good.
4) Will the final result be the same??
Singham triumphed over ZNMD.
