After the super hit LOVE AAJ KAL, The Saif Ali Khan-Deepika Padukone combo is back in a romantic-flick called COCKTAIL which also stars debutante Diana Penty. The film releases on 13th July and it is directed by Homi Adjanaia. The opening will be very good courtesy the chartbuster music and refreshing promos! How good a opening, let’s see…

0 0What is Shahid’s comfort zone? Romance, Action, Comedy, Drama???
He has not even found a firm footing yet atleast in any one genre. He cant stick to one and neither can he mix it up. A JWM here and a Kaminey there in between innumerous duds wont help.He needs to get out of the aping SRK-background dancer mode. Sirf acha naachne se bade star nahi bante. Thodi filmein bhi yaadgaar karo. Thoda versatility dikhao.
And if Ranbir had industry backing him up, then it was only due to the talent they found in him. Otherwise Shahid had a much better chance all those years before Ranbir joined BW.
Shahid made his career out of all those link-ups with big actresses. I do not deny that he has talent and has got the looks. But to say he is better than Ranbir, is stupidity!And Danish – Raajneeti mein kisko kitna role diya gaya tha yeh sabko pata hai. Reason why ajaydevgan and prakash jha had their differences. Ajay Devgan definitely got a raw deal. And the whole movie was promoted on Ranbir-Katrina chemistry. Even during those city wide promotions, Ajay went missing.
I will stick my neck out (yes, not utkalji’s) n say that Barfi will do twice as much as TMK did.
TMK is what? 30 crores?
Barfi will easily do 60…mark my words.
And in that case if it were to flop, Ranbir will still get all the appreciation. -

0 0Shahid hasn’t even done 10 years yet it’s been 9 so far.
RJ – that Is ur opinion u like ranbir over shahid fair enough and I knw shahid has had 2 flops recently but that doesn’t mean he will never make a comeback he still young and I do feel his forthcoming projects are good enough to bring him back in reckoning. Shahid has nobody to guide him at all these years hes made his way up himself and what is this he made it big with link up with actresses?? then what about ranbir he has all the kapoor khandan fauj. Even he got help from salman khan from start of his career who promoted Saawariya. He’s had many more link ups with actresses then shahid has had in his years but I find this link up with actresses nonsense thing to point out. Another thing is that ranbir has worked with all big directers from day one. And have u seen TMK to judge shahid performance even in flop films he stands out and gets enough praise. Nothing personal but I just pouting out my views.

rajneeti mein kisko kitna role diya gaya tha ye to audiences ko hall mein jaane ke baad pata chala hoga amgar rajneeti mein logon ko theatre tak kaun laaya tha ye ajay ki pichhle 5 saal ki filmon aur ranbeer ki pichhle 5 saal ki filmon ke dekh ke pata lagaaya ja sakta hai.
aur flop filmon se ranbeer ko jo appreciation milti hai woaxxhole mein rakhne laayak opinion se zyaada kuchh nahin hoti, chaahe rockstar ho ya rocket singh.
the fact is 1st 5 years record shahid is ahead with bigger solo hits, next 5 years we will see in 2017. overall in 2032.

If Shahid doesn’t have a comfort zone, it means he is versatile enough to try anything and do justice to it. Unlike Ranbir who tries everything and can’t do justice to them.
I don’t understand what is this ‘SRK-hangover’ that people talk about – Vivah? JWM, Kaminey, Badmaash Company, Mausam, TMK – where was the SRK hangover?
What links ups are you talking about? Make a list of confirmed/rumoured girlfriends and Ranbir’s list will be much longer for 5 years than Shahid’s for 9 years.
I say calling Ranbir a better actor than Shahid is stupidity. Opinions will always differ.
As for Barfi, it is not going to be the last film of Ranbir’s career. Nor is TMK the last film of Shahid’s career. Both have a long innings in front of them. Nobody could have said 3 years ago that Salman would recover so well after his career hit rock bottom with films like Yuvraj and Marigold. But look at his turnaround. This is bollywood where fates change every Friday.
